As a result, we have decided to not proceed with this policy change,” the company said in a statement. “To be clear, it never was and never will be the policy of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to not pay for medically necessary anesthesia services. The proposed update to the policy was only designed to clarify the appropriateness of anesthesia consistent with well-established clinical guidelines.”

@Em0nM4stodon @aral It's not really shadow banned. Your posts won't show up on the local timeline. And people need to know your username to find your profile, and then accept the "hiding recommendation" before being able to follow.

With #Threads becoming a hot topic once again, it's time for a reminder:

Admins are people too. When the announcement first happened, many admins got harassed, and threatened, if they federated with Threads (or even just thought about it). Many admins gave up and left.
