   @stephanie @Em0nM4stodon I’d call that shadow banning by any other name (yes, we call it “limiting”). It’s still a lousy thing to do.

     @Em0nM4stodon @aral It's not really shadow banned. Your posts won't show up on the local timeline. And people need to know your username to find your profile, and then accept the "hiding recommendation" before being able to follow.
