RK3588 update: i finished the 3rd revision (called R-1) of the MNT RCORE adapter today and ordered sample PCBs from JLC. fingers crossed that this will be the release version, and thank you for your patience!

after finishing DS9 and VOY, which were both pretty great, i finally started watching ENT yesterday. that feels very... different :D i like that it's kind of gritty but oof, that intro, and i don't vibe with archer and especially trip (yet). the others seem mostly cool. in general idk what to think. will the show get better or worse or stay mostly like this?

ok, there's a bizarre "image cleaning" function that takes 5-10 mins in the monitor and it got rid of the mura blotches

@niconiconi yes, this is also how i understand it. so i'm wondering if intra-pair skew has a bigger bad effect on PCIe 3.0 signal integrity than the diff pair impedance. it's somehow hard to find some good material on the effect of different impedance values on diff signalling integrity.

also because i can run at 1:1 scale now all the applications are fast again :0 (most importantly, kicad)

i deployed a fancy new LG 27GR95QE-B OLED 27" 2560x1440 monitor for work today which is the first (big) OLED monitor i've experienced. the refresh rate is quite unbelievable (scrolling and mouse pointer make optical trails in my brain) and the colors are glowing. unfortunately it has sth like a 2x2cm mura blotch area that is visible only in dark greys. i'm tired of sending stuff back .__.

also got a razr viper 8k hz mouse which is a significant upgrade in terms of precision and handling.

30 more Hyper MNT Pocket Reforms went out the door today. Hyper fulfillment count is now at 72 devices.
