   after finishing DS9 and VOY, which were both pretty great, i finally started watching ENT yesterday. that feels very... different :D i like that it's kind of gritty but oof, that intro, and i don't vibe with archer and especially trip (yet). the others seem mostly cool. in general idk what to think. will the show get better or worse or stay mostly like this?

     @mntmn It gets better, but never reaches the level of the older shows. S1 is the weakest, but both it and S2 has some good episodes. Sadly it feels like, Archer is written very inconsistently as a captain. Season 4 is my favorite, it contains a lot of 3-4 episode story arches, that are awesome. Season 3 is praised by a lot of people, and it's a single story arch, but it's not really my cup of tea.

     @mntmn it gets better, but never reached any level of enjoyable like TNG and DS9 did for me.

     Can't stand Archer, Trip gets better.

     @mntmn Yeah it's a bit of a rough start but starts to get good season 2-3 and by the end you'll curse them for ending it early. It was setting up season 5 to be great.

     Like all trek it has some stinker episodes and some truly great ones.

     The theme song changes for season 3, but only makes it a little more up tempo. Still awful. Best intro is still VOY.

     @mntmn I finished Enterprise, it wasn't my favourite, but enjoyable in many ways. It's Discovery that I didn't finish.
