    Sounds like an amateur programmer, in the sense that he isn't programming for pay.

    There's nothing wrong with that, but people do this for a living, and we have a different view of the matter.

    When I look at what I need to get done, and then look at the "AI" tools available, I just open my text editor and get to work.

    I've been programming for 26 years. Writing good programs is extremely difficult. The LLMs are interesting toys, but I've yet to see anything that says they can replace a person with an IQ over room temperature. Check back in 10 years.

    I've had this thought as well, and with a well-designed WASM-browser API I think it would be possible to jettison the majority of the browser bloat, all of html, javascript and css and have the site just render things directly.
