it's cheap to produce and it looks nice. but yes, since everyone uses it every show looks the same.

that's why i advocate for DON'T HUG ME I'M SCARED and the upcoming horror anime UZUMAKI and stuff like that.

looking at this art style doesn't add up to much of an argument other than "mainstream cartoons suck". we have more.

@hackernews@die-partei.social i can't use wayland because everything keeps crashing.

if wayland can't keep up with the input on an app because of high CPU or IO usage, it'll kill it immediately.

i have an intel i5 ivybridge. my cache and root are on an ssd.

that's not enough. i would have to upgrade my CPU some generations ahead to get over this i think. but that requires a new mobo, and which in turn requires new RAM.
