    @xianc78 Women are more sensible towards the mere appearance of things and how they make people feel.

    My mother said her entire life that the reason my father couldn't get a better job was that despite being an Engineer he always dressed like a nobody, people looked at him and instantly dismissed him.

    Many recruiters nowadays are Women, they will judge you merely on the appearance of your CV, they are HR professionals, they don't know anything about computer science either.

    As a curiosity, when you send your CV to someone via email, you do convert to something else, right ?

    @skylar @matrix When that happened we usually collect it and try to find someone to give it to.

    If nothing else it saves you the trouble of having to scrape a large amount of rotten fruit off your sidewalk.
