@SuperSnekFriend Different artists are okay with different amounts of detail. I like to reach more into the semi-real, I guess as a byproduct of horny drawing. But also it's like a testament to one's ability; I was always in awe of artists that made very detailed artwork. It looked impressive and worthy of striving for, so I took that route.
My artistic journey hasn't always been strictly improvements. In some ways I got worse because when I look at this drawing I did in 2020 (#1) compared to the summer drawing of THIS YEAR (#2)... while I've gotten way better at the absurd proportions I enjoy and a lot of other things, I believe the hair took a turn for the worse.
This is why old art is still valuable. The way I do hair has been irking me for so long I'm super happy to be revisiting it and giving it the detail I like, and also improving the workflow (it was suuuuper tedious before).
@Kyonko802 Sometimes I'm okay with the mysterious "did we do it?" endings, as long as the game gives enough information and context clues for the player to headcanon for himself. That's where the game can go beyond the game itself into the culture, sparking discussion. But sometimes it's too nebulous where I'd rather be told my efforts were for naught or it was a successful hero's journey.
I guess it depends... honestly it's been so long since my last mystery/vague ending. @Vidmastereon
@AstolfoCockVore Yeah I think it's romantic too. Though again, there's a point where someone is too far gone and that's gonna go down to your own judgment.
