Different dynamic, similar goal. -

Cayhr (cayhr@varishangout.net)'s status on Tuesday, 12-Sep-2023 02:56:04 JST Cayhr @AstolfoCockVore It's... interesting, for sure. There's definitely a point where one can judge a person -man or woman- to be too far gone for help, but it's the little things that I look for.
For example, part of what makes me love Sunohara Shun so much is that she hits all the right spots (motherly traits, beautiful sexy body, gorgeous voice, calm presence), but she's all worked up over her age and appearances. Translating her to a real person, it'd be a wonderful bonding journey to make her appreciate herself. Teaching her to be comfortable without excessive beauty products, teaching her to be happy with being an adult (or at least, older than the other students), and teaching her the same pleasures of life she helps sensei with (relaxing and destressing). For maximizing her womanhood and pair bonding, she'd learn that ultimately the only person that needs to view her as beautiful without her stressing over makeup and beauty products is... well, sensei (me). Putting myself in sensei's shoes, he has the authority and ethos to do it, too. She's just... so wonderful as a wife, in my opinion.
I guess that's why I tend to gravitate more towards mature characters. Tradition holds that both men and women require training to be fit for marriage, and certain dynamics uncover depending on the direction of the training. I for one would nurture my wife to be the best wife she can be for me, and... well, I guess one of those fantasies that fits within a modern context is like Sunohara Shun. -

Cayhr (cayhr@varishangout.net)'s status on Tuesday, 12-Sep-2023 01:57:12 JST Cayhr @Kyonko802 I was saying this when I was playing the game... I really, really love playing with 4 shotguns because it's so satisfying to just pump and shoot as you cruise through a level. However, what really kept me from trying out AR/automatic ballistics builds was that they just... sucked.
Honestly Ludlows were what I used to win against Balteus but even after unlocking the Scudder later in the game, it just... sucked *in comparison*. At least, in comparison to other options like missile builds (I used this to beat the Ibis series) and the hilarious shotgun builds. So it was either everything else was OP or the ARs and SMGs sucked. Yeah, it was the latter. -

Cayhr (cayhr@varishangout.net)'s status on Sunday, 10-Sep-2023 09:21:36 JST Cayhr @zemichi To give a more respectful and thought out response though, yeah. Hyung-tae Kim has been working with AI quite a bit. There are also other artists I've familiar with looking into it, and I'm really curious to try it too, but my art style is still in a developing phase and unstable, so I can't really train an AI on it very well.
Also, on a simple illustration AI tech works really well but for things like Live2D animations the AI would need to be able to provide the separated parts, which I certainly don't think is feasible right now. The most likely iteration of the technology is the artist uses the AI to color certain parts and then polishes and pieces it together himself. Imagine... an "AI render brush" where the artist highlights a form and the AI colors it. -

Cayhr (cayhr@varishangout.net)'s status on Sunday, 10-Sep-2023 09:03:36 JST Cayhr @zemichi Yeah, the big players don't want little guys using the same stuff to compete. It's why big corpos are all for socialist policies, regulations, and more.
AI will allow indies to do SO MUCH, but of course it'll be trying to protect the children or prevent copyright nonsense while the big corpos just won't tell anyone they run giant AI rigs in their production cycle. -

A couple friends and acquaintances surmise that it is through investor money. But THEIR pots have to dry up eventually, right? They can spend a ton of money that goes down to the workers and managers, but the publishers and primary development studios are gonna end up losing out. -

This may have something to do with it. It's why westerners get so scared of moe stuff that you see overseas. I forgot what video but there was a disclaimer about how the Japanese love cute stuff, which is a personification of small bodies, big head, and big eyes (aka lolis), made specifically to explain to western watchers. Really it just seems to boil down to projection, like how anime and manga get lambasted for whatever reason, and then you find those same people liking yaoi of the MHA boys. Your stuff is bad, their stuff is good.
