@lapin I guess I'd be cheating a bit with my current pfp since Yolanda is my own character. She has this vague, untold lore about being a lore keeper goddess across universes (this lets me justify crossover fanart using her) that likes to enjoy mortal activities to remain human even as a deity (helps keep the character grounded and human). At the end of the day though, she's just an illustration muse. So factoring in her lore, she could just take me and herself out of that zombie apocalypse into a less screwed up reality after writing this one down as irreversibly screwed. Cheesy, so I won't use her.

I'll use another PFP I always use and it's Phantom Roy from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Basically it's Roy but summoned as a ghost. Well, he's a spiritual shade under my command... so I have a perpetual soldier with fire powers. Even if he is a medieval knight's spirit, he is untouchable and can incinerate even at range with magic fire. I think we'd be able to survive quite well, as he'd be able to fight stuff without being hurt.

@AstolfoCockVore I had to go and listen to him myself. It's just Yong, I don't hear Kiryu. It's a Seth Rogan issue all over again. And then the karaoke... I didn't think it sounded great. It's not even endearing because of the autotune to try and make him sound "better."

@jimmybuffettfanaccount One of the saving graces about FE and why I appreciate a lot of the paired endings and support chains (when written well) is how they can completely redeem characters. Like this one here with Dorothea and Ferdinand. Unfortunately my memories of the supports are super vague at this point in time, but for example Petra wasn't bad.

Tangentially related, Camilla and Suzukaze from FE:Fates/iF is another one of my favorite pairings. I know that game falls really short in the writing aspect but it takes two characters whose entire characters revolve around Corrin (in a lot of bad ways too) and makes them much more personal. I think it's because those two are finally "liberated" from being chained to Corrin (I know Suzukaze does it willingly but still), and they can focus on being their own person. Not to say it's like they cast a beloved family member aside, but it contributes to alleviating one of the issues of Fates: Its fixation on Corrin at the expense of every character's individual personalities. At least in 3H, the characters feel more involved in their own struggles and how it meshes into the overall conflict.

Oh yeah, Camilla and Suzukaze gives you a really cute weed daughter that makes a lot of money for mom and dad. :kekw:

@Feinmuehrer I think as people get pushed, they'll start doing more of this. If you watch the video, the motorist wasn't even handcuffed and he walked with the cops to the car. He scratched his head, so he was peaceful right afterwards. I mean obviously he did since overwhelming force just showed up, but I know HE KNOWS what he did. Either it was a realization from post-nut clarity from a fit of rage, or it was a total willingness to kill the protestor.

Welp, it's only 6 chapters, and not much really happens. I did not get invested at all in the world politics. Girls hot, but terrible personalities. :konata_yawn: I guess we'll just see if the author is a gore and ryona fetishist or not, considering how much blood randomly gets spilled and how much maiming occurs during benign situations.

The Vampire Survivors game mode is kinda cute actually. It's very fleshed out for side content, and it is very clearly inspired by HoloCure (including the boss box opening animation and music). I have to commend Shift Up for the very high production value of Nikke, even though you can kinda see the animation kinks of live2d and "hacky" environments of PNG backgrounds and all that. Still, it accomplishes what they want.

I missed the NieR crossover but Nikke has stormed up the charts on app stores since then. A buddy hopped back in to check out the 1st Anni, so I did too. They learned their lesson of actually making fan servicey stuff, because... yeah, that's what people are here for lol. Some of the skins are quite nice, and idk if it is patched but I recall Neon showing a little areola. A long time ago they made a poor excuse about having to adhere to app store ratings or whatever, and everyone including them knew it was bull crap.

Also, seems like they're moving onto being their own distributor, as PC Nikke has its own client. Good on them honestly, I would have done the same.

Now let me take off Mihara's trench coat and unzip her everything :chino_angry:
