@DW2 @Shadowman311 Rings similar to the "gig economy" that was being tossed around a while back. Sounds cool on the surface but really means being uncertain whether you'll be able to put food on the table week to week.

@sickburnbro There's a fundamental logic error here though... as a grandparent you should WANT to watch over and spend time with your grandkids. It's like a reward you get for raising your own kids to adulthood because you get to enjoy all of the good with still being able to give them back to their parents at the end of the day. So the question is... what's changed?

@ArdainianRight @PraxisOfEvil I find the saber rattling Lindsey "bitchboi" Graham is doing hilarious. As if the USG didn't just get their shit pushed in in Afghanistan and they aren't currently facing a recruitment crisis. I know he's sold his soul long ago and has to do this, but I wonder if the thought ever crosses these zogbots' minds that it might be a bad idea.

@ArdainianRight Everything'll keep slowly declining until things get bad enough to trigger mass unrest in the general pop. There's no point in trying to predict when that'll be though; it's something as irrational and unpredictable as the markets themselves. There's a certain amount of peace to be found knowing that it's in God's hands, I'd say, so kick back and enjoy the little things in life while you can.

@SpurgAnon @WashedOutGundamPilot It's heartening to see. I was reading through an old study Bible this morning and the study notes were full of Dispensationalist nonsense. 10 years ago I wouldn't have blinked an eye at that, and now it's repulsive to me. I pray more and more people wake up.

@WashedOutGundamPilot The supply chain of tons of stuff still hasn't recovered from the whole lockdown BS. At this point it'll take a global economic crash or war (or both) to shift manufacturing back over here. No boomer run or publicly traded corp will ever do it willingly.
