     @Sirtruckdriver the author of the book "Blue Highways" (composed in the 70's) pre-rated diners in accordance to the number of calendars on the walls.
     0 - typical chain style restaurant, or a place that lacks character in their food; you know what to expect
     1 - there's some heart and soul, it'll be good
     2 - probably an established family restaurant, the menu will have great food
     3 (a rarity) - top notch. It may not be the healthiest food, but it will satisfy on every level
