Doing the needful is more important than being a normal empathetic white 100% of the time. -

Besides the few desert states it doesn't look that much less humid than Europe. -

BitterPill (bitterpill@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 09:22:41 JST BitterPill @WashedOutGundamPilot @Twoinchdestroya @Heil_Honkler @captain_arepa Guess I'd have to live in an American home for a while to get it. Women here tend to take up every shelf and ledge available in the tiled bathroom. And having an apartment with a second separate toilet (also tiled) is nice for when someone is taking their sweet time in the shower or doing make up or whatever. -
BitterPill (bitterpill@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 09:08:52 JST BitterPill @WashedOutGundamPilot @Twoinchdestroya @Heil_Honkler @captain_arepa I'm sorry, I can't even begin to understand how it's possible to not have tiles or other waterproof materials anywhere a plumbing fixture is located.
Is this why Americans always go on and on about mold? Just by living in the home as intended results in water getting soaked up into where there should be none? -

Just regular bathroom tiles. And an old rag to clean up any overspray that gets on the floor. I guess that might be too much for people that don't want to spend an extra second on anything unless it's scrolling a twatter feed or something equally useless. -
BitterPill (bitterpill@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 07-Mar-2023 07:58:50 JST BitterPill @Twoinchdestroya @WashedOutGundamPilot @Heil_Honkler @captain_arepa I don't even know what any of that means. Never used any toilet that sprays water upwards.
I have a sink next to the toilet with a regular looking faucet that happens to have a fancy pressure differential activated valve built inside. Basically just use the faucet as normal, temperature and pressure adjustment and all that, and just press the button on the shower handle for water to be diverted from the normal faucet opening to the shower handle. Also a towel dryer and separate towels for hands and ass. I could probably live without paper entirely. -

BitterPill (bitterpill@poa.st)'s status on Thursday, 23-Feb-2023 08:50:31 JST BitterPill @WashedOutGundamPilot I can relate. Like I said I'm no German, but I can get pretty enthusiastic about stuff like belt instead of chain driven bicycles with continuously variable transmission hubs instead of gear hubs. I don't even own anything that fancy but the tech is awesome and makes regular bicycles seem like stone age crap. Funny though, afaik neither Gates Carbon Drive nor NuVinci hubs are German, they're American. -
BitterPill (bitterpill@poa.st)'s status on Thursday, 23-Feb-2023 08:24:51 JST BitterPill @WashedOutGundamPilot I'm no German, I couldn't keep things neat and organized to save my life. But I have a very German like autism about tech of all sorts. And I'm cursed to see how the lowest of the low slavs butcher tech, sometimes literally German tech, like volkswagen group cars "repaired" by slav mechanics for example. And I begin to understand why Russia deserves endless conquerors attacking them until the end of history. -
BitterPill (bitterpill@poa.st)'s status on Saturday, 04-Feb-2023 11:22:49 JST BitterPill @Tripp Who do you reckon will be driving the mishmash of tanks being sent to Ukraine? Barely trained Ukes or Western mercs? -
BitterPill (bitterpill@poa.st)'s status on Saturday, 04-Feb-2023 11:22:47 JST BitterPill @Tripp It's getting ridiculous, the amount of money and gear dumped into Ukraine prior to these tanks should have already counted as an act of war. Now they're talking about giving Ukraine jets too. How the hell is this not WW3?
Seems like within weeks or months you might have to face NATO soldiers and somehow it'll still be a proxy war contained within Ukraine. -
