i ended up scripting a major point in the story on day 2...
i was gonna lampshade how quickly the relationship progressed, but if i don't give them enough time before this event, the protagonist despite being a super genius looks like a vapid retard and her love interest a cock sucking dickhead (which i don't actually mind too much given his story arc), alongside the story feeling stupid
the problem is that this situation needs more trust built upon them, and also time to escalate to this situation to begin with, instead of happening two days right after the story begins, so i decided to move this part of the story into the future, because it's scripted well enough on its own that i don't need to worry about it until i get to that point
thing is, i still need to somehow reach that level of trust realistically and reasonably...
writing padding and calm everyday life is my greatest weak point... especially when i have to construct it from nothing within in the world of the story...

i forgot that i wanted to add sex to this game, but i know steam hates lolis and sex
not sure how to write around the fact some of the character development happens during and because of it, nor how to add patches to the game to allow for it
i haven't reached that point yet, but it's gonna affect whether or not i write it to begin with

i've completed writing day 2, and i now have a direction i know where to go to with this story, and can fill up the remaining days with engaging story before we get to the part i wrote
which then i need to write more, because that's still not the end of the story... more like the second overarching plot would be concluded, and then the final one needs to be written...
i really don't want to think about the decision trees i'm gonna have to write and program after this if the story's this bloody long... i'm also really going to need to put in my all into fleshing out the prologue when i get to it...
i'm also kinda pissed that the wrtier's blockage freed itself when i'm half-awake and feeling like i only got one day to finish the entirety of this. do i have to drink alcohol to let myself write freely or some shit, or did i just happen to live some more in my life to allow myself to continue more freely than the previous six days?

i'm kinda surprised i wrote a beach episode this early, but in hindsight this will be happening roughly at the half-way point
i recall someone saying that the point of beach episodes are to show how characters behave and act in a relaxed fun situation and environment
i'm not exactly planning on doing that, but seems like it's naturally segueing into that
which is nice.
i'm also gonna have to design swimsuits when i get around to making sprites, which luckily i had made one design in the past.

it's also been 6 days already... i said i wanted the abstract done in under a week, then spend a full week making art for it, a week to flesh out the story details and write/program it in ren'py, then a week to do music...
maybe if i combine the programming week with the script week... but i don't want to keep delaying this when i'm on a deadline on life...

decided to focus a bit on my art, and here's gonna be my current list of characters
not sure about the other three, but there's gonna be more background characters and such, and i've designed enough characters to reuse in this project
as for the story, i'm just paraphrasing a few things so i can get started on making portraits and such

i made $22.9 off of stock trading over one week...
seems like i have a hang of how stocks work now, but question is if i want to risk it all or not for faster earnings or not
i don't really care too much about what i have in my stock accounts, so the big question is can i get out of debt this way or nah...
