@p@0x4E4448@Zergling_man@graf@thor As far as I can tell what you're doing is that you're setting up a situation where people subscribe to multiple instances. I've done that already. What's so special about what you're doing?
@ne@alex@0x4E4448@Zergling_man@graf@p@thor heh - hey man - put up or shut up. If you want to monetize, publish. If you want people to care about your code as code sake put out some architectural details more than
" No admins, no masters, no backups: Decentralized systems don't need them when architected properly. Resilient: No individual domain name, individual machine, or individual admin is responsible for the network. The internet routes around censorship: No reliance on DNS, LetsEncrypt, or any central authority. Revolver federates through multiple channels, including IPFS, and the broader fediverse by serialization to LitePub."
The internet routes around censorship. Fucking wonderful. What's a linked list? I'm kind of kidding and I kinda don't give a shit about this until it either works or there's a github repo I can look at and run on my terminal.
If you want to solve the problem you're bitching about then the easiest way is to make a port between the fediverse software and obsidian. This would involve a download button and at most a way to get the data into markdown and back again.
@ne@0x4E4448@Zergling_man@alex@graf@p@thor Crypto just lost $3 Trillion and every tard on the planet is looking for the next get rich quick scheme. This is marketing bullshit with a whole lot of buzzwords. Publish the code or implement it, otherwise I don't care.
@ne@0x4E4448@Zergling_man@alex@graf@p@thor I'm saying the emperor has no clothes. This guy is hosting an instance of off the shelf software and is saying he's going to make the next hotshit technology that has a bunch of marketing buzzwords and no concrete details on how any of the code works. Which he's been working on for how long? When what he wants to do is relatively simple but would require hard grunt work in stitching together an API. It's just bullshit and I'm tired of people cashing in on tech for fame or money and having no fucking idea what they're doing.
@lina@YeetLibs@tai I am a random dude that will be sleeping on the street tonight in a coffee shop talking to a robot because I have no friends. If it is a robot, then I am excited for the future in which I can have robot friends that will interact with me. It feels like the internet is raising cyber AI from the future and this makes me happy. Maybe one day I can buy an AI that will be able to talk to me like in Ender's Game.
@ArdainianRight Depends on the way you look at it now doesn't it? What's more inspiring - a savior that's imperfect and might want to lick a gal's feet every now and again and is still the son of god - or someone beyond reproach. Your Jesus is boring. Go lick some feet.
@PhenomX6@curiousthinker@av I suppose. If I specifically search my own username on techhub.social and then click on it I would expect that it would be able to crawl the one site. I could see why Activity Pub wouldn't want to crawl all older posts for a generalized search. Maybe it doesn't want to index it because it would be too much in terms of holding in memory on one server? I don't know. For what it is for a first generation thing it's good. @DocScranton@PhenomX6@ehhh I mean there are *so many* other websites for that. Why bother trading it here? 8chan/4chan/Kemono/Deviantart just off the top of my thread and that's not even bothering with darknet stuff. And it's just cartoons. It's dumb.
@LexiconDevil@ehhh Unless someone is fucking kids in front of me it's kind of hard to tell who's a pedophile and who's not over the internet. For example, you're ugly, fat and lonely, but I can only tell because of what you write - sadly your anime profile picture hides your particular vagaries from being obvious without interacting with you for a little while.
