@itsfoss Linux made me rethink my entire digital life and snapped me out of using only the consumer-centric mainstream industry players. I love how I seem to be able to find tools for things I want to try because some other like-minded person has already thought of that years ago. I'm looking for a job where I can use Linux and FOSS on a daily basis. I keep lamenting there are only two smartphone OS choices so awaiting the day when I can use Linux there, too. Linux=choice and choice is good!

@nixCraft unfortunately is required at my workplace. But I keep trying to use Libre when I find compatible docs that work. Luckily the office provides office so I am not paying myself.

@nixCraft at school it was the TRS80 by Tandy/Radio shack... I think it booted DOS or whatever you had on a 5.25 in floppy.

@nixCraft isn’t the real issue that we really only have two choices? I’ve used both and always find something missing from one or the other. Currently using iPhone to mollify parents.
