    We all fall short of the glory of God, and not a single one of us is "good" -- hence the need for a savior. But anyway, good works comes from faith and fellowship with Christ ("You will know them by their fruits."), so if there's no real being a good person they're not really Christian.

    I still haven't quite processed that my mom is gone, and it's been nearly ten years. All I know for sure is she is no longer suffering from cancer, and for that I thank God.

    I still considered myself a buddhist when my mom passed. Maybe that's why I was so "numb" to her passing since that just meant she was reborn into one of 31 realms of existence or some such nonsense. I've never really sat down and contemplated my mom since converting to Christianity.

    I don't know about that kind of lifestyle, again considering that I was a staunch atheist most of my life and just kinda drifted along. But it seems like a lot of people wear the football jersey without playing the field, so to speak, in regards to Christianity.
