@Sophistifunk Pretty sure the creepy animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy’s was inspired by Chuck E. Cheese, which had that in spades back in the early 80s. The arcade back in the day wasn’t bad, either.

Meanwhile, I know old school arcades still exist. They had a few of them in the Seattle area. Haven’t looked since I moved, but I imagine I’d have to go to Nashville to find one.

@coolboymew I had to do a factory reset, which meant I had to re-enter everything. I tried to use the same password as before, which I assume was entered under an earlier firmware version. It was no longer accepted when it was accepted before.

It worked just fine, it's just the UI that blocks it now, probably for some bullshit "lazy security" reason...

Because I had forgotten the password to my WiFi router, I had to factory reset it. When I tried to enter the same password I had previously, it was rejected because it contained a space. Considering I entered this passphrase before and it worked, one can only assume some middle manager at Belkin decided it was ok to require passwords NOT to include spaces.

Funny, I no longer have space for Belkin (or Linksys) products in my life.

Today I learned Lyft passengers can accuse drivers of "speaking against a protected class." They won't provide any details of when it allegedly occurred or what was allegedly said and will disable drivers because of it.

Lyft can take their purple mustache and shove it up their own ass.

@Mummabear I actually worked for Nokia in the 2000s and had numerous smartphones before the iPhone, including several variants of the Nokia Communicator, the N95, and the E71.

@Knight_of_the_First_State I've been out to my local chicken producer's farm a couple times. They let their chickens roam free for the most part and, other than during the cold snap we had during Christmas, have had no issue providing us eggs. And, unlike the grocery store, they haven't raised their prices. At this point, they're almost a better deal.
