@MercurialBlack this kind of judgement - lazy, stupid - weighs heavily on the mind and doesn't help much with anything. It should be reserved for describing actions, not what you are. From these, derive some standards, and as long as you work to uphold them there's nothing to feel bad about. Actually making progress is a separate concern, since you can't get anywhere feeling lost or generally like shit anyway.
@mint@PurpCat@RustyCrab@gray@Hoss@goatmeal Karachan did that indiscriminately. Depending on degree of media and normie attention at the time, measures ranged from gifs, earrape and masking post content with bible verses to disabling the domain.
@lina@Tadano@nishi > you might be asking for too much if you're asking for VC support in a CLI client toxic for tox has that, finch may do too cc @Zerglingman every so often someone airs "man what if vc" in the profanity muc, and the answer is always "we take pull requests :)" so there you go
@Zerglingman@laurel people usually complain about apt pulling recommended packages, this is easy to turn off, but in this case they're just git and one node module with same deps as npm so it doesn't make a difference. pulling suggested packages too increases the count from ~380 to ~450 on my install. it's just how debian packages modules. in arch, all that shit's still there, just bundled with npm: https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/npm/files/ same dance in crux: https://crux.nu/ports/crux-3.7/contrib/npm/.footprint
