   @Zerglingman @laurel people usually complain about apt pulling recommended packages, this is easy to turn off, but in this case they're just git and one node module with same deps as npm so it doesn't make a difference. pulling suggested packages too increases the count from ~380 to ~450 on my install. it's just how debian packages modules.
   in arch, all that shit's still there, just bundled with npm: https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/npm/files/
