@deprecated_ii Its not that Merkava is heavy I'm pretty sure Latest greatets of the western tanks like Abrams, Challenger and Leopard are all 10 to 20 tons heavier, the problem is mostly:
Front engine = no counter balance for the armor
Rushed job since panick mode

That image from 2006 with one flipped is basically that, Tank was loaded incorrectly and on a turn or something the Tank just fell.

If anything this is more a reason to why front engined Tanks don't work and Merkava is a bad tank (their idea is mostly to get people from the front if they are injured but that competes with ammo)

Oh sorry, yeah forgot Billions is nothing. Well jets can be expensive the problem is that if any other nation tried to do F-35 they would get broke.
