@Dan_Ramos my life has improved a lot since I moved on to CSS databases. They solve all the problems with legacy systems like SQL, and if you didn't have your head so far up your ass, you'd be helping others level up their CSS database skills, too.

I certainly follow feminist activists to whatever they engage with... that's really the strength of the open source community, and the assurance of its future.

@jeffcliff that's kind of the point. She has nothing to show for a leadership position except her commitment to vaginaism. This is not a relevant qualification. The rest -- including her "activism" amounts to, at absolute generous best, second place to Gilmore.

The only arguments in favor of her have to step outside of merit and enter the realm of equity and quota nonsense to trump Gilmore.

@jeffcliff Gilmore has historically been a good libertarian, one of the original Cypherpunks. Extremely safe bet that he's at least RMS-compatible. He's a veteran with a golden CV vs. FSF's (stated and traditional) values.

@blacklight I would say such politicians should be doxed. Not just themselves, but everyone within 2 degrees of relationship -- friends, business, family, children -- everything. Medical records, financial records, police reports, anything and everything. If their signature is on a document, it's now public. No exceptions, no mercy, no mitigating considerations.

After a few of those, they might gain a newfound respect for privacy. If not, we'll at least be on an even footing with them.
