@arstechnica Goodbye to the FCC. It was nice while they lasted.

Nazo (nazokiyoubinbou@mastodon.social)'s status on Friday, 22-Nov-2024 04:20:02 JST Nazo @arstechnica Easier is definitely not always better. A better way to word this is it's now going to be very hard to keep things from accessing your account info for tracking. Hopefully it's a separate permission that can be denied.
Glad I tossed out gapps already.

Nazo (nazokiyoubinbou@mastodon.social)'s status on Friday, 28-Jun-2024 22:02:46 JST Nazo @itsfoss *This does come with some caveats. You have to set the frequency below the high point of the voltage curve. Not easy to find. When you do, your system should be able to go all out 100% and still stay below maximum temperature which has the side effect of making normal gaming actually run cooler and more responsive too. If you set it too high it could overheat (though generally takes Prime95 to do it.) That means less than max boost. For example, my 5600X runs 4.4GHz at only 1.1625V

Nazo (nazokiyoubinbou@mastodon.social)'s status on Wednesday, 13-Mar-2024 07:11:15 JST Nazo @xtaran @debacle @thomasfuchs @mntmn I can believe it. Presuming it has sufficient cooling, that is the most optimized layout I've seen in any laptop of such an era and I only really know of one today that approaches it.

Language aside, Saunders explained those things really well.

Though, on the other hand, it also would serve as a reminder that they didn't bother implementing a modern version if it and it makes people sad because it was a neat feature.

As food for thought, might it not be useful for the interface to offer an option to automatically convert emoji? It gets tiresome selecting emoji from a list instead of just typing them.
