while still displaying

"Estimated to ship: Nov 29, 2024".

@mntmn: Meh, it just seems one of the accessories I ordered with the MNT Pocket Reform. The 5G Antenna just switched to "Actually shipped on Oct 24, 2024 PDT".

And the "ix Industrial Ethernet RJ45 adapter cable" switched to "Ships within three business days." — I'm surprised they ship these separately. (And of course still surprised that the DHL notification came about a ¾ day before Crowd Supply noted the shipment on the according order page.)

@mntmn @jacqueline: A very pleasant surprise: The announced parcel actually was the #MNTPocketReform 🎉 plus the cable and antenna! All in one parcel. And despite #CrowdSupply still claims it would be sent out end of November. CrowdSupply should really try to get their order pages in sync with what they actually sent out. 🙄

This is odd: I got a notification from DHL that a delivery from #CrowdSupply will arrive on Monday, but I have no idea from which order this belongs to as the #MNTPocketReform is currently scheduled to be shipped end of November and the #Tangara is scheduled to be shipped beginning of December, at least according to CrowdSupply's order page. 🤷

@mntmn, @jacqueline: Anything that shipped earlier than announced on CrowdSupply's order page? 🤓

@debacle @thomasfuchs: This is my 12.1" (4:3, 1024×768) #Thinkpad 760XD with a Pentium 1 with 166 MHz and 48 MB of RAM. It's famous for its keyboard automatically raising on the back side for a comfortable typing angle when opening the lid: https://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:760XD

@thomasfuchs: One of the reason's why I like @mntmn's #MNTReform: Its design has something of a vintage #Thinkpad brick. Same counts for the MNT Pocket Reform: Feels like the true successor of the first #EeePC #netbook, especially those with the fat 3rd-party batteries.

@debacle: Well, IIRC my Thinkpad 760XD (from the mid 90s, similar to what is in @thomasfuchs 's picture) isn't really that much lighter.

@mntmn: Say, if I buy an MNT Reform Standalone USB Keyboard 3.0, can I swap the 3.0 keyboard itself between my (IIRC 1st gen) MNT Reform which currently has the old 1u+1.5u-only keyboard with ALT keys in the middle, and the USB keyboard standalone case, so that I get the new keyboard layout into my MNT Reform and the old, more exotic layout in the standalone keyboard?

@mntmn: Is there an overview over all alternativ #MNTReform #ProcessorModules available? Something like a table showing amount of RAM, cores, speed/frequency and if the OS needs to be reinstalled or can be kept… I'm a bit lost with all the offered processor modules on https://shop.mntre.com/t/hardware/reform, especially with which require a different OS to be installed. (It's only obvious for the FPGA one and the i.MX8MPlus. It's unclear to me for the LS1028A and CM4 ones.)

And do you know if there are privacy lids available for that M12 lense mount? Haven't found any on the net with a short web search.
