  When I was younger, one of my best friends was Kyouko. She was a brash and hotheaded young girl who, even though she was a tomboy, was still loved by her peers. To be honest, it’s been a few years since I came back home. The only person I know from there was Kyouko and she seems… different?

@coolboymew Theatrical stage plays based on games are pretty common in Japan. I know Karen Iwata played in some of those, such as Danganropa in particular.

@Elliptica @galena @coolboymew @noyoushutthefuckupdad Isekai in general is extremely formulaic about the inventions they bring out: water pump, skin products. Dr.Stone at least has the variety. It pays for it with a loss of the "magical realism" aka fidelity. One other work that took an interesting middle ground was "Sengoku Komachi Kuro-tan"[1]. It had all kinds of low-tech equipment to grow rice, which only took knowledge and absolutely was plausible. Frankly it was shocking that it took until 19th century to invent some of it.

@coolboymew @sjw @SerfnUSA My DB says "1-7 the relationship is bad after all; 8 uncute groping". Basically the gimmick was intriguing but not enough to carry the show. The "after all" apparently refers to dropping the manga previously, but anime didn't repair it.
