If your movie game or walking sim has a less compelling story than Monster Girl Quest or Hoshizora no Memoria, then you failed as a writer and you'll do the world a favor by committing sodoku.
Gameplay is not king but the emperor, everything else is meant to supplement and enhance the gameplay, not pull you away from the gameplay to watch a cutscene every minute or read pages and pages of dialogue being repeated because apparently everyone has an attention span and memory that only last 10 seconds.
If you love cutscenes then just make a movie, if you want pages of dialogue then make an eroge, VNs without sex is like eating uncooked rice with plain flour :akko_unamused2: -

But that aside, content doesn't need to match Senran Kagura, Valkyrie Drive or Bullet Girls but at fucking least be comparable to Oneechanbara. The standard is so fucking low, it's amazing how with extremely few exceptions, no game meets it.
2024 is dry for video games, so will 2025 and 2026 and this will continue until games are made for men not faggots and trannies. -

The problem here is readability and the uninterrupted combo string, this frustrates people more than being oneshot by a boss.
Ninja Gaiden bosses can oneshot you and unless the camera is sperging out, it's fair because it's readable and you're able to learn from it, also the boss combo string doesn't take 5 minutes to finish.
DMC's later entries has a difficulty option to be killed in oneshot from both enemies and bosses, because everything is readable it's fair and again boss combo strings don't go on and on for 5 minutes.
Majority of the problems come from the art direction, everything kind of blurs in to a grey mush. NG and DMC at least attempt to make the boss easy to see and follow.
Nobeta ironically excels at this better than souls, the color contrast between the boss design and the arena the boss is in makes the boss easily readable so even if you do get oneshot it feels fairer since the telegraphs are more obvious. -

From what I understand the anime only covers the first chapter in the slot machine with minor changes and shuffling of events which is why some foreshadowed events aren't brought up at all.
Before the episode count was revealed to be 12, I watched a story playthrough of all the volumes released so far since I was curious how the anime would condense all of them in to 24 episodes.
Personally felt the anime started strong and gradually got weaker before the lead up to the final fight, it never really hit the same high that the beginning of episode 1 had. This might've benefited in condensing events to push the story along.
Hope for season two.

@luithe oh, this was sold by amazon which made the gaslighting worse.
I did get a refund though but it was annoying that amazon fucked up their own store page and then blames the customer.
He meant repair parts and I would agree, bought some to repair some old phones and it's usually pretty good, reviews with photos are extremely helpful and go for listings with decent sales volume and you'll be golden.
Majority of electronics is manufactured in china so not surprised that you'll be able to get parts on aliexpress. -
