One of Apple’s worst pieces of user interface design: the “Reply” button in iOS and iPadOS Mail. Two identical icons, one at the top and the second at the bottom. @Volpit@aral Yeah. While his use of "outrage culture" is bollocks, and I'm sure we wouldn't see eye to eye, it's his right to curate his timeline as he sees fit. The freedom to do that and not have it curated for you by a company that wants to push your hot buttons for engagement and ad views is part of what makes federated systems work. *Making* someone hear your words is coercive no matter what those words are.
@estelle This is not accurate. The New York Times did participate in AMP, right from the start. In line with many publishers it stopped when AMP became non-compulsory for news carousel in 2021. Same for the BBC.
