The reason the ostinate pro-Ukrainian sentiment is drastically decreasing in the media and elsewhere is that this gamble was lost, because European populations do not believe in major Ukrainian chances of victory and these control attempts were also resisted with the rise of right-wing nationalism as thematically represented by AfD and the farmer revolts, which means that there needs to be a major backtrack while preserving the phobic sentiment that these two years fostered.
