@thatguyoverthere this looks pretty neat!
Yeah, storing energy is a mess, that's why I don't do it.

@thatguyoverthere How is the alternative to tilling called?
I only know permaculture. Is that what you mean?
btw. I don't use fossil fuels for tilling. I borrowed an electric machine, which runs with the energy I produce with solar panels. Having a cable might be annoying while working, but it's much more sustainable.
@thatguyoverthere I totally agree! It doesn't make sense to buy food oversees if you can grow it in your garden or literally everywhere there is a little bit of soil and water.
@thatguyoverthere Growing my own (organic) food is exactly what I am trying to do, because of sustainability.
But there are still people who say this isn't sustainable at all...
@thatguyoverthere what do you mean by more decentralized farming? Because this sounds like more tractors on the fields and not sharing resources.
@thatguyoverthere @dcc Which waste exactly?
@thatguyoverthere That's so nice of you. Keep up the good work!
@thatguyoverthere So how do you think we could solve this problem?
@thatguyoverthere @dcc Hey, at least my food doesn't fart!
@thatguyoverthere Your post reminded me of this... "I love animals"
@thatguyoverthere Funny, because I thought you are against anything like those other shitposters on your instance.
As soon as I write something about organic farming, they go nuts. Almost as crazy as writing something about veganism.
@thatguyoverthere People like you somehow think the food for your food doesn't kill animals and that everyone else who isn't an ignorant is retarded.
But what I've learnt from your shitposter colleagues is that blocking is the only way, because everything else is a waste of time. You will never accept scientific facts or anything else, what doesn't fit your destructive world view.
@thatguyoverthere @animeirl Uncountable! I even donate money to plant trees.
How much meat did you eat in your life?
1kg of beef needs:
- 15000 liters of water
- Grains: up to 10kg
- agricultural area: up to 50m²
- 22kg of CO2 emissions
Tell me more about your "sustainable" life style.
And if I tell people like you that the food of the animal could be eating by humans, the answer is always: "I don't eat grass! It's not natural to eat grass"... *building up their stories on allegations*
@thatguyoverthere @book@sneed.social Yes, that's right! But you have them there to kill and to eat them. You don't care about living beings.
@thatguyoverthere @book@sneed.social Maybe you could say this to your conservative farmer friends, because if they wouldn't destroy the planet so much, we could have a better life on this planet.
Oh, and btw. synthetic pesticides are even worse if it's about destruction.
But let me guess, you already have those old lies about organic farming in your mind, which I already read from other people from the shitposter club.
@thatguyoverthere oh man, this post shows how stupid some people are and why the planet is going down.
As long as you have a more destructive life style than a vegan, you don't have any right to point with a finger on anyone.
And like always: If you would care about those groundhogs, rabbits and other animals, you wouldn't eat meat at all. Because how do you think most animals from mass-productions get their food from?
@thatguyoverthere @animeirl It's always the one with the biggest co2 footprint who point on others.
I don't think I will take any "advice" from a meat eating shit poster who is polluting the planet all day.
@book I don't know were you get the numbers from, but let's go back to the food of the animals you eat.
What do you think what pigs eat?
You can't pull a line at the 1 life of the pig. You need a lot of resources to feed the pig until you get meat out of it, which costs a lot more lives.
1. I don't drink coffee, because for coffee beans a lot of rain forest gets destroyed and a lot of animals lose their habitat or get killed.
2. I prefer spelt and oat as my "milk", because those are grown locally (in my country).
3. Around 77% of all soy on this planet is used to create food for livestock and not for vegans or humans at all.
If you seriously care about those 50,000 voles you are referring to, you should reduce your meat consumption.
@book
How do you even think that my oats and spelt create as much suffering as your bacon?
Seriously, I am curious! Because if there is something highly destructive in my life, I want to reduce or get rid off it and I am thankful for every tip.
Update 2023-06: I moved to another mastodon instance:https://veganism.social/@utopify_orgAnd I keep this account, because I figured out it is handy if a troll attacks and blocks me afterwards, that I can still write them a message :DCreator of https://utopify.org/ and interested in #sustainable topics, like #environment, #gardening, #selfsufficient, #greenenergy, #solarpunk, #future, #vision, #utopia, #vegan, #animalrights, #linux, #opensource, #foss, #coding, #greenit, #privacy etc.
