Back in the 1930s, it was radio.
Then in the 1950s and 60s, it was television.
In the 80s and 90s, it was video games.
In the 2010s and now, it's stuff like Tiktok and using tablets.
In pretty much all cases, the fears were unfounded. We all (across time) turned out fine.
I think today's kids will turn out fine. They'll be different, they'll drive us adults insane, but they'll be fine. Such is life.

So definitely that last option. :)

It WORSENS security, because you're forced to remember a new password/PIN and after forgetting it a few times will probably write it down. Or you might be tempted to use an easier to remember and less secure password.
NIST no longer recommends expiring credentials regularly. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS.
