@coolboymew If you find it's done too soon, fill a thermos bottle with hot water, bring the teapot/infuser with you and resteep. Green tea is still good for a couple of steepings.

During SPC's outage I sold my PVM and put my MiSTer FPGA as a "computer" setup. It's not the right screen yet (that is on order and will arrive... sometime this year) but other than that, it's comfy. I've setup my BBS again and my AI client as a "door" so I can talk to an AI from a simulated Amiga (or 486, or Commodore 64, etc...)
I also got TCP/IP networking going on the Amiga core, so that's nice.

Mitsu: Do you think my mood improved since I started the classes?
Me: Yes, I think so
Mitsu: You think I'm less insane?
Me: YOU WERE NOT INSANE

The Saturn core on the MiSTer has improved a lot in the last few months. It's much better than the Saturn emulation I get on my Anbernic RG353V.
Ultimately, I don't REALLY need MK3 and NBA Jam, the home ports on 5th gen consoles are good enough. It's just CPS3 I'm desperate for.

@xian Played Policenauts on a Japanese Saturn with a Pseudo Saturn Kai cart and the light gun, I don't know if it works well on MiSTer.
It was a lot of fun, but the action/light gun scenes are complete bullshit that require superhuman reaction time or (more realistically) unfun trial and error. You never feel like a cool badass like good lightgun games make you feel.
-
@xian I played Snatcher on an emulator with the keyboard a long time ago and while people complain about the lightgun segments in that they were not that bad for me, maybe keyboard is easier.

@lain @parker @Moon Happy Kagi user too, but I still have to go to Google from time to time as Kagi has issues with local and french language searches.

@lain I prefer hybrid watches, and I keep looking at the Withing Scanwatch series these days.

@lain This only confuses non-americans (whole continent, not just USA), who don't understand the glory of corn.
A whole continent, united in worship of corn.

@Weeble >My friend likes to watch compilations of old commercials from the 80's-2000's and I can kinda understand the fond memories or the more memorable commercials but I can't imagine enjoying them enough to watch a bunch of em.
I like doing the same (there's youtube channels of just that). It's not so much that the commercials are good, though some are, but that it's opening a portal into a different era. Not the pop culture snippets that achieved mythological success that we still remember to this day that get referenced over and over in shows like Stranger Things but the much more mundane aspects of the culture of that era.

@lain @Hoss @Moon > lost all recordings and plans of one of the most inspiring events in human history
They probably thought "bah, who cares about that grainy footage, in 10 years landing on the moon will be trivial"
