ResetEra forums are highly infamous for being the worst online, namely for their moderation policy in which every single post you're making is walking on eggshells combined with the fact that ResetEra will ban you for not supporting whatever their current thing is, the moderators not wanting you to talk about something, or even posting a joking comment on a thread (drive-by trolling is their term for it).
Most of the people on here are here because they got jannied pre or post Musk and took the hint that "Twitter isn't a place to be very subversive and recruit people on", but normies are going to see the jannies and decide "meh I'm going back to Twitter". -

I feel bad for all the people who want to join fedi, find out all the cool instances have registration locked for 100% merited reasons, and end up at a jannied shithole where you talk about topics like how much you hate Elon Musk and Twitter, how great Mastodon is, and nothing else for fear of walking on eggshells.
They then move back to Twitter because all the artists are on it along with shitty memes. -
