My friend is an Afghan vet. Doesn't like AR's because he had to fix them all the time over there. Problems all over the place. Anyways he bet that my cheap ass AR wouldn't run if we dried out all the oil. "Wouldn't even make it through the first mag" he said. So we popped it open. Sprayed it down with brake cleaner and wiped it down.
    I went through 5 loaded mags before I said no more, no issue. I've personally never had issues feeding factory ammo through mine. But I have had feeding issues when I try out retard loads "30gn projectile and 28gn of powder? Why the fuck not"
    Makes me wonder how absolutely shitted issued small arms are in the army. I expected them to be worn out. But not with the issues he was describing regarding feeding and sand ingress.
    So at this point I should stamp "better than your race gun" on the side. Lol

    @WashedOutGundamPilot @DemonSixOne I'm kicking my now ex gf for this same shit. My house was clean and presentable. And I had plenty of space for my hobbies and guests. She moves in and after 6 months it turned into that picture. She works 4 days a week and spends no time doing fucking anything around the house during her off days. A total fucking slob. I couldn't keep up anymore on my weekends so I just gave up. I haven't been able to have guests over for ages out of embarrassment for the state of my place. I don't know how she can have guests over at all. Either way. One more month and she moves into her own damn apartment and I can forget about her (gonna have to watch out for insane BBY pls come back texts)

    The satisfaction that will come when my place is clean will be unmatchable.

    @WashedOutGundamPilot @Tfmonkey Funny, that just happened to me. Helping family move and just had the opportunity to talk to the neighbors and both of the mothers wanted to introduce me to their daughters (whom weren't home) I had a good chuckle afterwords. Only the wives were home.

    My father expected me to have children first as well, sister beat me to it. It was a good bet. I was with the same woman for 5 years. Met her at an SCA event. We planned on getting married after she got out of college due as her grandparents were bankrolling it. They disapproved of me due to my status and not having a "good" job (e.g doctor, lawyer, engineer. I'm a janitor making $23/hr) after she transferred to another college for her bioeng degree. Left me after seeing all the other girls shacking up with educated men and growing disagreements with where we wanted to go after she got out.
    She grew up off the grid. Was sort of a conservative hippy. She was a lovely woman.
    That was 6 years ago. Haven't found anyone I've meshed with since then. My thirties are rapidly approaching. Scantly 3 years away now.
    Never lose hope. But God it's begining to look bleak.

    I don't know why I felt like autistically rambling about this.

    @noyoushutthefuckupdad @coolboymew I watched it when I was a child. My mother was a sort of pre-weeb. And is one of her favorites. Around 98-2000 was when I watched it. I think I revisited it around 2008 or so. Can barely remember much about it! But somehow I relate it to Yu Yu Hakusho
