@Revertron @kzimmermann IMHO This is why large instances shouldn't be a thing anywhere on the #fediverse .

The sustainable and maintainable approach is smaller instances, and more of them. Individual creators should try to either join small instances or host their own like a website.

@boilingsteam @japananon @deadsuperhero I wish I knew of the exact specs that #peertube required to avoid any encoding at all. This would go a long way to making this more manageable by using the local machine to do the work prior to upload.

@feditips speaking of #peertube can you please remind peeps that #bcon23 #blender is on now and the videos are now incoming onto the official instance!
