   @lps @boilingsteam @deadsuperhero I believe instance settings can disable all transcoding, then it'll just host files in the uploaded resolution exclusively.

     @boilingsteam @japananon @deadsuperhero I wish I knew of the exact specs that #peertube required to avoid any encoding at all. This would go a long way to making this more manageable by using the local machine to do the work prior to upload.
