I don't understand the holy war, the tab character is the only one you can adjust to how you like it rendered, so it's the only possible answer. You like two space indentation, let your editor render the tab two space width.

I'm not fond of that syntax. Saves some typing,. It it's only logical for programmers. The rest of your html document don't support that style.

Editor's have autoclosing tags already to fix the amount of typing problem, right?

So I want to make two things, not sure which I will go first with. 1) a small tamagotchi garden. Think astrobotany. 2) a simple mental health diary that you can share with friends, with a private history (think GitHub contrib chart) and a public Ok/Not ok page. Nothing that is too private.

I'll convert my image to wsl 2 then. I think even the new Ubuntu image I installed was set to wsl 1 because that's my default (has to do with fileshares on the windows filesystem).

Hmm, i understand where your coming from. But it could just use unsigned certs on localhost for devs.

But at least this complicates things for me, but I'll manage, I'll try to switch to a VM then instead.

@aral I just opened an issue on the kitten app; the installer refuses to complete under WSL 1, most likely because sysctl not being fully present
