     You don't owe anyone a dignified response

     You can strive to do your best but there's always someone to knock you down

     Don't let people validate themselves at your expense

     Ignore them

     Let them spend their energy trying to break you down, while you build a better future

     Like really? They must not be aware of everything you are doing for the fediverse, small web and internet!

     Some people are chronically mad, and I'm sorry you had to go through that

     You are a role model to developers like me, the way you approach these problems you are solving with such ethical elegance is rare, not just on the fediverse but the wider web, and you don't deserve such ignorance and hostility

     (And I hope you know the feeling is mutual. I was just telling Laura the other day how the way you’re doing things with PixelFed and your other projects gives me hope for the future. It’s so rare to see someone not centering themselves and staying true to the principles of creating egalitarian systems.)
