I had a Civ V overdose due to finding a mod that allowed you to play as Rhodesia under Ian Smith. This led me on a Rhodesian history kick. Truly one of the most depressing tragedies of the post-WW2 decolonial period. -

For those who don't know, Salatin's the author of Everything I Want To Do Is Illegal. It covers the regulatory nightmare set up by the FDA, and how it cripples local production while facilitating global monoliths who have tainted the food supply. Luke Smith covered the book a few years ago. Perhaps there's a non-zero chance we get an American food supply that isn't goyslopped!
