Ahhhh, how can he be so cute?
And people say AI can't be used for good things.
-
I was organizing some folders in my PC, and saw this.
I may have a problem.

@VTArgyle It's always good to have some for quick reaction replies

@pettanko @mischievoustomato @Kyonko802 @Ronnie21093 @SergeantCat @arcana to manage your files?
-
@pettanko @Kyonko802 @Ronnie21093 @SergeantCat @arcana @mischievoustomato because:
1 - sometimes the place the files were supposed to go is not the place I want them to be
2 - there are many file types (usually the more obscure ones) that the system has no idea what to do with, and it will either put them in the wrong places, or put everything in a "dumpster" folder where a lot of different files will live together not organized
3 - many phone apps do their own thing and put files in their own folders instead of putting them where they are supposed to go, and then other apps aren't able to find them because they don't look into those folders
These are insurmountable problems for most iOS users, and the main reason why they get completely screwed when any app changes the way their "forward to" function works.

So, just out of curiosity, I went to check and...

@ehhh @luithe @s8n the true complaint about AI art boils down to "it is stealing our jobs". You know, that thing blue collar workers complain since the start of the industrial revolution, and that the artistic class always laughed at their face about.
Now that the shoe is on the other foot, it's not as funny, but they realized pretty soon that just going "they are stealing our jobs" would give them nothing but scorn and mockery. So they are trying for that angle of "it's stealing", "big corpos are stealing our intellectual property" and "if you use AI you are stealing from artists", in a bid to shame people into not using it and hoping it loses traction.
I see this in the "creators sphere". Now that I returned to Warframe, I started watching some videos to get up to speed with the current "meta" and stuff you can do in game, and I stumbled into "creator drama". Basically people fighting because so and so dude makes "bad builds", or someone stole a build from someone else, or so and so are horny on main and that's apparently not good because unless you are a faggot you need to be a prude, but something that attracted my attention was that some guys were target of drama because they "use AI art on their thumbnails, and that's not cool, you should pay an artist to make it for you". And I mean, wtf, what's the point of it? Why do you care so much if I paid an artist to draw Yareli in a bikini or if I just generated it with AI? And I bet other content creators for other stuff must have the same kind of drama.

@Kyonko802 @Meemoo @luithe biggest problem is that by what I saw, Snowbreak has a small team and it's harder for them to keep two game versions running, that's why they have only one version.
-
@s8n @ehhh @luithe IDK. It's as much "stealing" as a guy who learns good patterns from looking at shit other people draw, and then uses what he learned on his art (I think the young'uns call it "inspiration").
As long as the AI doesn't blatantly copy someone's art, it's not "stealing".

Is nature healing?

@ChristiJunior I mean, fucking Warframe has rule 34. A lot of it. And most of it is reasonably good.
And the characters in Warframe are literally biomechanical infested freaky robots.
Imagine how disgusting your character designs must be to lose to that.
-
@matty @ChristiJunior Ember heirloom skin is a sight to behold
-
@LoliHat
-
@Giri @otaking3582 technically speaking, every time you draw an existing character from some franchise, you are drawing someone's else OC without their permission.
-
New bank card just arrived
-
Just like that Unknown 9 game. How bad must you be that you get a 5 from fucking IGN?
Or could it be that IGN realized it has been dragged because of its 7/10 scores for awful shit like Star Wars Outlaw and now they decided to drop the awful score to a 5?
-
@matrix @matana a "non alcoholic cocktail" is just a juice or a vitamin
-
@apropos @Type_Other yes, but technically speaking, when you say something like "POV", the image is supposed to show what you are looking at. But what people tend to show in these "memes" is the reaction face you do when you do whatever the meme is doing. People are dumb.
All those overused "meme scenarios" like the one OP mentioned tend to be dumb and misused.
A correct use of POV would be something like this:
POV: you are a cop answering a call for domestic disturbance in a black neighbourhood
