in this they waste their time while their country is rotting away

>This year, Ken Akamatsu will again be a guest of honor at Japan Expo. Many know him as the author of Love Hina! and Negima, but last year he became a member of parliament for the Liberal Democratic Party, "Japan's largest far-right organization," according to Wikipedia. >He began his political career some ten years ago to protest against laws regulating child pornography in Japan, and this remains the main focus of his struggle. This has led him to criticize certain UN recommendations, painted as an outside influence attempting to censor Japanese culture. Fortunately, we know there are more interesting things in Japanese culture than child pornography! She has since aligned herself with the far-right and deeply anti-feminist ideas of the Liberal Democratic Party, and has become a star of this reactionary and dangerous party. >Many of us grew up with Akamatsu's work and are attached to it. It's not a bad thing that we like Negima or Love Hina. However, we can't deny it. His status as an internationally recognized author gives him legitimacy in Japan, which he uses to propagate his reactionary ideas. Nor can we forget the complacency of a large part of the manga world towards child pornography, as shown by the wave of solidarity with Nobuhiro Watsuki, author of "Rurouni Kenshin", who was in possession of monstrous amounts of pornographic content involving minors. >By inviting him back and helping him to be seen as this endearing author, Japan Expo is directly involved in giving him legitimacy, which he will use to push forward ideas from another time in Japan. It is a matter of solidarity with Japan, of solidarity with all the people whose rights are threatened by these extreme right-wing ideas. It's time to show that we are not taking advantage of their culture, to show that we will do what we can to help them defend themselves. And that means refusing to give importance to the people who endanger them on a daily basis. >Refuse to attend events where Ken Akamatsu is present! Question him about his ideas. Question the Japan Expo staff - Ken, we don't want you!

NarbrayBlue lock is a project created by the Japan Football Federation to create the best striker in the world and make Japan relevant in world soccer. For this, they take a group of promising young high school players and lock them in a place where they will go through rigorous testing and training. Our protagonist is someone with no apparent talent who is selected for this purpose and shows us how he is progressing within this project.
I loved it, I'm not a fan of soccer or sports in general but I really like shounen spokon and this has turned out to be a nice little gem, the series puts us in an excellent way in the matches and confrontations, and turns soccer into a psychological combat within the field squeezing the physical and mental layers of our characters. Its strong point is how interesting it manages to make the matches, generating a mental evolution of our protagonist in each of them and squeezing their mental capacity and talent, as well as facing them psychologically.
The animation leaves a little to be desired, it is not the worst but could be better, many scenes are noticed a little cringe with cgi and at times the quality drops quite a bit. The soundtrack is excellent keeping the tension and emotion in every moment.
Anyway, it is a highly recommended series, the truth is that I have seen some panels of the manga and the anime does not do so well, especially for its animation, but it is still a very good series.
@DarkMahesvara@AommAomm@Kyonko802@Suzu@Tamamo@ishadowx@kilostere yeah, and in linux much of the pre-installed software can be safely removed, many distributions come with firefox `but you can remove it without problems, but in window you have to swallow the fucking edge, and to top it off now are forcing some system links to be opened on edge
@kilostere@Tamamo@AommAomm@DarkMahesvara@Kyonko802@Suzu@ishadowx I've used a friend's mac several times, I haven't really noticed how great a mac is.... I find it funny how many people say they don't want to switch to linux because they don't know how to use it but they accept a mac with open arms.
@Suzu@AommAomm@Kyonko802@ishadowx there are also very good and stable distributions perfect to start with like linux mint or zorinOS. I started with linux mint, I had very few problems and it didn't cost me anything to learn how to use it, it's not much different from using window. I think that it's difficult to use is a pretty silly excuse, zorinOS is absurdly easy to use.
@ishadowx@Suzu however, the impulse of chromeOS and steamOS could bring direct or indirect benefits to us, I think it is good that it is increasing in popularity, even if it's through steamOS or whatever.
