At 4am in NYC I wake up to catch the early bus. When I'd look at twitter at that hour it was totally filled with all these students and scientists and nurses from Nigeria-- They are already at work and in class and taking about the news, papers, jokes. And I made friends that way too. I learned new things.

That's the power of a network with 100s of millions of people.

Likewise, enthusiasm for public transit MUST come with enthusiasm for clean, working elevators-- I live in NYC there are still subway stations that aren't wheelchair accessible. This is a livable streets issue on equal footing with any other--

How will they write about the King of Mastodons feuding with The King of the Twitters?

I'm starting to realize just how unaware many people must be of the remarkable things happing right now to social media.
