It is a lot. I have told them 100 different ways to reduce the tax liability. Ya think they've done even one of those things?
Here's the other thing that pisses me off on that personally. He doesn't want to pay the $200 a year for quick books to do payroll for employees. So he forced us all to go 1099 and now instead of a miniscule amount of taxes being taken from our checks, were left with the burden of paying taxes at the end of the year. -

Honestly I agree with that but because I am the bookkeeper for her husband's construction company and manage all their finances, I see what they really spend their money on. If they would reign in their Amazon and golf expenditures, you wouldn't need a salary that taxes you 70k a year. -

They constantly cry about how much taxes they have to pay. -
TinyHouse4Life (tinyhouse4life@noagendasocial.com)'s status on Monday, 06-Mar-2023 22:21:08 JST TinyHouse4Life I'm noticing a trend and wondering if anyone else is seeing this. I am known in my circle for giving gifts, little surprises for no reason other than to brighten a day. Here's the trend I am noticing, people don't say thank you anymore. They don't even acknowledge they received anything at all. I have to track the package to see if it was delivered. It kinda sucks and makes it not fun anymore 😕

My best friend is literally a millionaire. I've been gifting her 10 dozen eggs a month for 2 years. When the eggs slowed down during winter, she started paying a lady from out of state for eggs. It's like damn lady, you could've thrown me a thanks for the eggs text. Now she wants me to come do her taxes for her. Fuck that nonsense. Do em yourself! -

I don't know much about goats but I always advocate for electrolytes and/or vitamins after a bout of sickness -

Cedar is so pretty. I have some slabs that hubby used to make live edge shelves in the kitchen. They are gorgeous. We have a bunch of cedar trees around too but they all have skinny little trunks. A big pine tree fell and took out a cedar on the way down. Hubby says he's gonna see if he can get anything off of it -

Heck yeah. Norwood is a beast machine. I am hoping to harvest as much as I can out in the pine forest. There's 1000s out there but they are starting to fall in large numbers. -

I do bring in my 7 year old broody hen and my tiny bantam silkie rooster inside during certain weather conditions. The chicken coop floor is dirt so if it is rainy and extreme cold I will bring those 2 in just to be in the safe side. I will say, now that we have the sawmill running, I am considering making some changes to the coop
