When the lag happens, I can see 4 postgres processes using 100% of cpu among them (so, like 50-60% each). Essentially slows mitra to a crawl :(

@silverpill this instance runs on fedora, and I compile from source the latest releases. I think I did the same when I ran rebased+soapbox, and stuff worked fine. I wonder what could the issue be?
