Biggest problem is asshats leaking it.
Literally all it takes is someone in your circle feeling cheeky to ruin all the effort.

We've recently had the internet archive DDOSed because some entity decided they wanted to scrape all of it in a hurry.

I think the AI goldrush means that you should assume that everything that's public has already been indexed somewhere, even if the index isn't published.

I worry that fedizens are luring themselves into a false sense of security by expecting to keep data-scrapers at bay with shame and outrage.
Odds are, these entities will be less transparent and even less considerate.
