most people who met me in person think i'm harmless and toothless, so they get a little surprised when i actually bite back

a lot of people look at me and think "i can use that guy" and are surprised when i put up a fight

ah, wait, some people actually take that idea seriously.

for every ridiculous analogy i can come up with, someone actually does take that idea seriously. the same sort of person who'd argue that you should self-host, i imagine.

but i mean, there's a reason vocations and professions exist. you can't always do everything so you delegate.

i was told to be myself. i'm finding, repeatedly, that people don't like honesty very much.

i shared my view in a group for people with ADHD that if ADHD does not lead to actual inability to do things, it's not an actual disorder or disability.

they did not like that very much.

if your life quality is not being worsened, it's not a disease. you're just complaining at that point.

i have ADHD and i do hold that opinion.

because ADHD *does* hinder me. i don't want to be confused with people who just put it on for show.
