     if ADHD does not lead to actual inability to do things, it's not an actual disorder or disability.

     i shared my view in a group for people with ADHD that if ADHD does not lead to actual inability to do things, it's not an actual disorder or disability.

     they did not like that very much.

     if your life quality is not being worsened, it's not a disease. you're just complaining at that point.

     i have ADHD and i do hold that opinion.

     because ADHD *does* hinder me. i don't want to be confused with people who just put it on for show.

     tried joining a bunch of ADHD related chatrooms.

     positive at first.

     but when details got discussed, my views were unpopular.

     i was told to be myself. i'm finding, repeatedly, that people don't like honesty very much.
