   most people who met me in person think i'm harmless and toothless, so they get a little surprised when i actually bite back

   yeah, the photo can seem a bit threatening

   i got bullied a lot

   a lot of people look at me and think "i can use that guy" and are surprised when i put up a fight

   that's what's behind it

     Never heard that expression. Maybe sailors wore more blue pants? In my area strangely enough it was more common to wear a blue jacket or tunic over black or gray trousers.

     @useless_idiot @thor I’m assuming it was sailer-related. It’s a very common phrase here, or was. If it’s mostly blue sky one could make trousers, but if it’s mostly cloudy with just a little blue then one could optimistically patch a pair.
