Since "SCORN" was such a visual treat, I've made the executive decision to extend it to next week. As such, the streaming schedule was been changed up from my original plans:
・Saturday, November 2nd - Let's Keep Trying: Scorn [Part 2] ・Saturday, November 9th - Let's Play: Morrowind, The Adventures of Treshtog the Skooma Orc [Part 5] ・Saturday, November 16nd - Saturday Night Stealth: The Dark Mod, "Volta and the Stone" ・Saturday, November 23rd - Let's Play: Morrowind, The Adventures of Treshtog the Skooma Orc [Part 6]
There's a good chance we might finish SCORN before time is up next Saturday, so something else may get thrown into the mix to round out the night. Morrowind is getting bumped up a week, and the gap between them will be revisiting a top quality Dark Mod FM, "Volta and the Stone", in celebration of the recent release of Chapter 3 in the Volta series.
Finally wrested back control of my ZEUS channel... can't send it anywhere over lightning, but I'm moving all my chains back on-chain and moving them out to a different wallet. I think this is official, I'm done with Lightning.
@sun@leyonhjelm@coolboymew I tend to agree. Nothing good comes from rushing to the aid of people who'll turn on you (again) the moment they go back to having the upper hand.
@silverpill Interesting you should say that... I was using Alby's custodial service as a test bed to play with it, but they kept pestering me endlessly to try their new "AlbyHub" service.
They had numerous options, including an "AlbyCloud" that you pay a monthly fee for, but they also offered a desktop wallet to DIY if you wanted to. I followed their procedures to set up a channel and move the funds over into my self-custody wallet, then the channel just closed suddenly and I was left stranded with too little in my wallet to open a new one.
If they had left me to my tinkering with the custodial service I might have wanted to keep my toes in the water, but this whole experience has just put me off completely.
In which Treshtog the Orc gets teleported to Mournhold before he's ready, makes his theatrical debut, spends literally an hour in a pitched life-or-death battle with a theater critic, buys a loyal pack rat, and bribes a guard into allowing him to progress the main quest.
