@Dowito @zemichi The usual suspects loudly crowing and insisting their fabricated headcanon about the history of other peoples' countries has been so overbearing, the shitstorm over it is all fine by me. I doubt I'll see Ubi go bankrupt in my lifetime, but seeing Lockley thrown out of academia and his reputation tarred forever would be a fine consolation prize.

I've discovered that "賢者モード" or "賢者タイム" (kensha mode/time, "kensha" meaning "Sage" or "Wise Man") is the JP equivalent to "post nut clarity"

I think I like "Sage Mode" more.

@ehhh @YTFoidLover1488 I can understand he has qualities they admire, I just think it's odd for Japanese nationals to support a foreign politician. Trump is (or at least should be) "America First". He's not making decisions with Japan's best interests in mind, nor should he, because that's not his job.

If they wanted a Japanese equivalent of Trump I'd understand, but they have to realize that at some point Trump would make decisions that are bad for Japan. Not out of malice, just out of practicality and geopolitical necessity. Surely they'd want to sheer for somebody 100% in their own corner, or so I'd think.
