UBI has been defended by capitalists as a way to stimulate the economy
Only in the marxist 'people who own companies' meaning of the word, not the ideological 'people who support free markets' meaning of it. Yes, many business leaders and wealthy elites hold (or purport to) 'champagne socialist' luxury beliefs.
Incidentally, ideological capitalists do not support government stimulus of the economy either. Corporate handouts are just as noxious to us as welfare.
I used to follow him on odysee until he got his knickers in a twist and rage-quit the platform when they wouldn't ban other creators because he didn't like them, so, how freezy-peechy is he really? 🤔
An attempt to provoke a wave of right-wing violence to justify mass j6-style show trials across the country and vilify republicans (maybe even ban the party, or get it classified as a terrorist organization?) before the election.
If Libertarians were inclined to 'hold their nose' and vote for the lesser of two evils, we wouldn't be a 3rd part to begin with. It's already priced in that we're not going to play into the two-party game 🤷♀️
I would call Elon an "industrialist". Most of his money is made from government subsidies, not voluntary market transactions. So I wouldn't even call him a "capitalist" proper, certainly not a "libertarian". "Libertarian" is just a popular talking point because we actually have a tiny bit of political power we can wield RN.
Trump recently spoke to the LP national convention, but we bood and laughed in his face:
I liked lunduke when he was on odysee, but he flipped out and rage quit when they wouldn't permaban randos he didn't like. What, did he think, I was going to follow him to youtube?
